How Xtrema Cookware Works
First off Xtrema cookware is completely ceramic. It is not coated with aluminum underneath, or steel or even cast iron, this means there will be no metal to eventually leak into your food.
It works by using infrared heat to spread the heat out evenly through the cookware, and because of this, it heats more efficiently. You can use lower settings to get better results.
Because of this it also cooks the inside and the outside of the food at the same time so you don’t have the outside done and the inside raw, such as when frying chicken.
Xtrema is NOT nonstick cookware, some places in my research said it was and some said it wasn’t, so I went to the Xtrema website and got this information from them.
This cookware is, however, scratch-resistant and will not stain, so there are no bacteria that can stay on the cookware and contaminate other foods that are cooked in it later.
It has a high gloss finish that is non-toxic, with extra-wide carry handles. Xtreme cookware also has easy-grip covers and knobs. You can also find a wide assortment of sizes and shapes to fit any need.
It is dishwasher safe, ovenproof, can be used in a microwave, convection oven, toaster oven, outdoor grill, or the stovetop, and can be put in the freezer. Do not put it directly from the stovetop or oven to the freezer without allowing it to cool first.
They also have customer service and a 10-year warranty. Always follow the care of the product booklet you get when you purchase your cookware.
My Thoughts On Xtrema Cookware
I feel after much research into ceramic cookware and comparing the coated to the all-ceramic that the safest and best cookware is the Xtrema Ceramic Cookware.
I found the website very user friendly. It was helpful with tons of information not just about the cookware but about how to use it and how to keep it in good condition (which I am going to share with you in a few moments).
The customer reviews on this product are excellent and they are ranked 4 out of 5 stars on the website with it being 21 reviews also 18 people gave 5 stars and 3 gave 4 stars, and they rank high on amazon for customer reviews as well. This was impressive to me as I always check the reviews of a product first.
I found out that contrary to what people are saying about this cookware, it is not nonstick. However, if you use an oil mister such as this one, or oil spray, your food still won’t stick and cleanup will be a breeze, and it is also dishwasher safe.
The cookware is beautiful, they have a guide inside to help you take care of the cookware and everything. I recommend you get the 8 piece set, which has two versa posts with lids (I like the red ones) they are 2.5 quarts and 3.5 quarts.
This set also comes with a 7-inch skillet with a lid, and a 2 piece silicone handle pot holder set, for the versa pots. When you get this set you will see that you love Xtrema cookware as much as I do, and why I chose to do this Xetrema cookware review.
Tips for the Xtrema Cookware
Here are a few tips for the care of your new cookware once you purchase it.
- Always warm pan on the lowest setting for one minute before adding any food or oil.
- This cookware will hold heat longer than most other cookware does.
- To cook rice and oatmeal use oil spray and water to keep food from sticking.
- Food stuck to the cookware can be removed by using a mixture of water and baking soda. Then heat on the stove until the food is loosened and wash as usual.
- Do not push down on the long handles when washing the or they may break.
- Metal utensils are not recommended. Not because it scratches but because it leaves gray marks in the cookware (these marks can be scrubbed out by using a paste of baking soda and water if you choose to use them anyway).
- To prevent chipping store and stack cookware with towels or other cookware protectors between them.
- Do not slide across the glass stove top as this may scratch your stovetop surface.
Pro’s and Con’s
- Even heating

Now it is up to you
You now have it laid all out in this Xtrema cookware review. I have told you all about the Xtrema ceramic cookware, and how it is the best cookware I have seen in a long time.
Up to this point always thought that the iron skillet like this one was the best. I am now, however just loving these cool ceramic pots and with lids that are in the colors that go in my kitchen. Oh did I mention they will last for a very long time?
This cookware can be used on the stove and then be put in the oven, then used to serve on the table, and be put right into the refrigerator.
The only place you can’t use this cookware is the induction oven where you need magnetic metal, of course, the reason for that is there is not any metal in this cookware which makes it safer for food, and healthier for us.
