We all have times we feel that our bodies need a little detox. Just a little something to help us have more energy or something we do to improve our overall health.

Detox is where you remove toxins from your body to improve the efficiency of the body to fight off infection, yeast, or inflammation just to name a few of the things your body is having to defend itself from every day. Detoxing improves the liver, kidneys, bowel, heart, and lungs and doesn’t leave out brain health as well.

I have found these 6 simple detox smoothies you could whip up one a day or one per meal depending on your detox. I like to substitute one for supper when I am detoxing.

Nighttime is the time your body processes all the food and toxins it is the time the liver works the hardest. Having food to process makes the load on the liver that much harder.

I decided to give you a list of benefits from all the ingredients so you could see for yourself how great they will make you feel and what a wonderful thing they are for your body. I know you going to love them.

It’s a good practice to detox the body after a while, to cleanse the body from bad toxins. As a smoothie lover, I absolutely would try out all this smoothies you’ve listed. However, the chocolate smoothie interests me the most because it contains chocolate and bananas.

I was not clear about your introduction, do you mean we should take smoothies at night?

    1. Hi Louis and thanks for stopping by. Yes, I was saying in place of supper to drink a smoothie instead, by doing this your body can put its energy into the detox rather than having to metabolize the meal. I love the chocolate one too!!

      Lynda

Thank you!

I really like the apple is no doubt an antioxidant, very effective in keeping the brain in good health and prevent heart diseases. I eat more apples. Its combination as a fruit smoothie with lemon, cranberry juice, and ginger will be excellent for the body. I will also consider the detox information smoothies having the combination of cucumber, coconut ginger, Tumeric, beet. That would be really good for having an excellent health status. Thanks for the recipes too. I have bookmarked this page for use later.

  6. I like a banana dark chocolate smoothie. Whenever I am back from work, I would have a glass of banana chocolate smoothie. It gives me a sense of relaxation especially the chilled ones. The banana smoothie also aids me to sleep faster as it induces sleep. It doesn’t take me time to sleep whenever I came back from work and take banana chocolate smoothie. It also increases testosterone production and libido.

Another smoothie I cherish is the mixture blended of tiger nuts, date seeds, and coconuts. This increases sperm production and good quality sperm in men and as well as libido increase.

  10. I really like this article- I am a big fan of   smoothies, It’s quite interesting to know that there are many different Forms of smoothies that can help detox the body. I really like the first option. However, people like myself suffer from IBS and some ingredient you have included such as mint or honey may not be great for IBS patients- what else would you recommend instead of these?

    1. Thanks for stopping by. Instead of honey, you could try maple syrup, as far as mint it is safe for people with IBS.I hope you enjoy the smoothie.

      Blessings,

      Lynda
